Thyme tincture is mainly used as an expectorant and lung cleanser in cases of productive cough and infections.

Research carried out in the 1990s showed that it has antioxidant and antiaging properties.

Gargles with dissolved thyme tincture have good results against sore throats and severe coughs. It causes expectoration and reduces unnecessary spasms.

Helps with respiratory and digestive infections and has good results in laryngitis, pharyngitis and tonsillitis also helps with deep-seated lung infections.

It fights lethargy and anxiety, mental and physical exhaustion, depression and apathy, it is generally used as a tonic and energizer of the body.

Antispasmodic and stomach softener helps to deal with diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome, the well-known colitis, and in young children it is given to fight worms.

Relieves itching and is used externally as a lotion for infected wounds.

Dosage :

3-5 drops of tincture, three times a day.

Side effects :

In large doses it may lead to central nervous system depression and slowing of heart rates or even arrhythmias.

In the case of pregnancy, it may cause contraction of the uterus
