Arpagophyte tincture can be used as a traditional herbal remedy to relieve back pain, rheumatic or muscle pain, and general muscle and joint pain.

Lower back pain

It is estimated that most adults will experience lower back pain at some point in their lives and they often suffer from it.

With its ability to relieve pain in certain parts of the body, Arpagophyto has been studied to test its ability to reduce lower back pain.

A 2016 review of 10 different trials, in over 2,000 people, concluded that Arpagophyto was effective in reducing low back pain.

Rheumatic pain

The significant improvements in the patient were:

reduced pain, reduced stiffness, reduced wrist, arm, shoulder, elbow, knee, hip and back pain.

Overall, their quality of life improved and 60% of patients either reduced or discontinued some of their pain medication.

Osteoarthritis pain

Unlike most rheumatic conditions, osteoarthritis is associated with damage to the cartilage that softens the ends of your bones. It usually affects the hips, knees, waist, neck, legs and fingers.

Versus Arthritis, the UK's leading arthritis research charity, says 'the evidence shows that Arpagophyte can be as effective as conventional medicines for osteoarthritis.

A study published in the journal Phytomedicine in 2002 found that patients with hip or knee arthritis who took a supplement containing Arpagophyte for eight weeks saw a 54% and 39% improvement respectively in their pain levels.

Dosage :

15-20 drops per day.

Side effects :

Although more serious side effects are very rare, some people may experience vomiting, headache, dizziness and allergic reactions.
