For more than 2000 years, honeysuckle has been a valuable ingredient in many of life's elixirs.

In the Middle Ages they used honeysuckle to make elixirs of youth.

There are two versions of his name, the first wants to be named after the bee, because it was considered as healing as honey, and the second to be so named because of the special love that bees have for him, because high nectar content of its flowers.

It is both a relaxing and tonic for the nervous system and is widely used for anxiety, depression, hypertension and related digestive problems.

Honeysuckle is mainly used to treat disorders of the nervous system as well as to prevent the development of ulcers.

It is anxiolytic (has antidepressant action) and mild sedative. Its consumption helps to deal with stress and hypertension, while at the same time it is effective in cases of insomnia. Recent systematic research on students has shown that consumption of Honeysuckle significantly reduces stress during exams - leading to better concentration and performance (for up to 6 hours after consumption).

The use of Honeysuckle helps to treat gastrointestinal disorders, studies have shown that its consumption protects against ulcers. In particular, consumption of Honeysuckle has been shown to increase the secretion of prostaglandin E2 and mucus by the body and reduce the secretion of acids.

Honeysuckle has strong antioxidant activity and moderate antibacterial. External use (in cream form) helps treat herpes (herpes simplex).

Due to its ability to act against pain in the nerve endings, honeysuckle is recommended for people with headaches, migraines and other pains (eg period pains, toothaches, intestinal colic).

Infusion : Depression, nervous exhaustion, indigestion are ears, diluted in children with chickenpox.

Cream - Ointment : For wounds, herpes, Wounds that do not heal easily or insect bites.

Lotion : Spray repellent on insect skin.

Tincture : For depression, headaches from overexertion and anxiety.

Massage oil : For depression, hypertension, asthma and bronchitis or at the first symptoms of herpes.

Action : Sedative, antidepressant, digestive, peripheral vasodilator, diaphoretic, relaxing and strengthening of the nervous system, against flatulence, antibacterial, antiviral.
